retrieve login info
How can I retrieve login and password for the Joomla admin page? What I could find written down is not working. Normally there is a link to have the info sent to the email account associated with the account but I don't see one on the Joomla login page.

There isn't a Lost Password link on the Joomla Control Panel (the admin area of the site), only on the login module on the frontend of the site. You will have to reset the password through the database if you do not have access to the frontend login. If you do have access to the frontend module, you would see it at www.mydomain.com/?option=com_user&view=reset (replace "mydomain.com" with your domain name).
