How do I move a Joomla! v1.5.15 site from WEB ROOT to a FOLDER (sub-domain) on the same Linux server?
I originally installed a Joomla! 1.5.15 site to Web Root which I now need to move to a folder (sub-domain) on the same Linux server.
The "Create a Full-Site Installation Package" tutorial appears to be a close match to what I'm trying to do, but I'm not clear on whether or not I'd still need to migrate the corresponding mySQL database structure and data.
I'd appreciate any guidance you can offer.

compress your root files zip it up and move to your sub folder. then in that extract it. It will work nicely. If the problems comes check the configuration files. called configuration.php check the database info is correct and path to temp directory are set. i belive no problem will come. i hope it helped you
